July 4th parade and picnic

Join YOUR NEIGHBORS AT THE ANNUAL 4th of JULY Parade. starts @4:00 p.m. corner of N. 23rd & Wakefield St. 

Arlington County Board Member Matt de Ferranti will serve as the Parade Grand Marshal.

Children are encouraged to join the parade on bikes, scooters, trikes, or on foot. Picnic to follow at the triangle park at 24th & Old Dominion.

We hope everyone can attend.  Also, please bring something to grill for yourself, a side dish and/or dessert to share, coolers and beverages.

Learn more as Fire Station #8 Replacement takes shape! Our community will benefit from this new facility for many years.

Since 2015, the Old Dominion Citizens Association has been part of the planning process to replace Fire Station #8 on Langston Blvd. After many delays, the project appears to be getting back on track. These pictures show the original station, and then the demolition and the temporary replacement structure.
